Interview granted to Cameroon Tribune by the Director General of CSPH, Mr. OKIE Johnson NDOH, on the supposed increase in the price of domestic gas on October 1, 2021. This interview was published in today's issue of Cameroon Tribune (economic section), page n°10 "The State has opted for a freeze on domestic gas prices".
Mr. ZE NGUELE Christophe, Technical Director, chaired on 26 March 2021, in place of the Director General of the HPSF, Mr. OKIE Johnson NDOH, the monthly review meeting of the prices of petroleum products for the month of April.
From 17 to 19 March 2021, the Open Days of the Vocational Training Centre of Excellence (CFPE) of Douala were held under the theme: "Development of quality human resources, competitiveness of enterprises and communities for an emerging Cameroon by 2035" under the patronage of the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training. This public youth training institute located in the 3rd district of the city of Douala, is a flagship of cooperation between the Republic of South Korea and the Republic of Cameroon.
Conceptualised the Director of the HPSF to restore social justice between the populations of urban and rural areas, a study on the standardization of the prices of petroleum products is underway at the HPSF.To this end, a benchmarking mission led by a joint team of the Technical Directorate (TD), the Directorate of Monitoring, Studies and Petroleum Statistics (DSESP) of the HPSF, accompanied by the Director of Metrology, Quality and Prices of the Mincommerce and the Consultant to whom the study was entrusted, was carried out in Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal, two countries that successfully practice this pricing policy.
The HPSF, anxious to contribute in its own way to the implementation of the energy policy and the promotion of the well-being of the populations advocated by the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, and the Government of the Republic, has been undertaking for a number of years, the construction of pilot service stations with the objective of bringing petroleum products closer to Cameroonian citizens living in remote areas and not always served.
The Director General of the HPSF, Mr. OKIE Johnson NDOH paid a visit to Ebolowa and Bamenda on 19 and 25 January 2021 respectively. The HPSF, as the secular arm of the State in regulating the prices of petroleum products as well as their supply, is concerned with reducing inequalities in the supply of the said products throughout the national territory. The HPSF has therefore set itself the objective of bringing land-based fuels closer to the populations not only of the metropolises but also of the rural areas.
